Everyone is over the moon with the food, friendly staff and quality service. The upstairs room is ideal for parties and the Christmas menu makes a refreshing change from the norm. I couldn’t possibly select a favourite dish, (although if you feel brave the garlic chilli chicken is something else!), suffice to say that this restaurant, hidden away on a Derby housing estate is a real treat. “We’ve been regular (weekly) customers for over a year and cannot praise Mahmaan enough for the way they run their restaurant. You are always made to feel very welcome and everything on the menu is full of delicious flavours and spices. Tawa Machee (fish), Batak Massala (Duck) and Al Mashiki are 3 of our favourite dishes. And if you like it spicy ask for it Naaga style. Their take-aways are also very nice. Thanks for the excellent service guys see you again soon.

“I’ve been using Mahmaan regularly (about once a week) since it opened a couple years ago and have always had great meals. The food quality is excellent with an interior decor to match and if there is anything not on the menu they will try their best to accommodate. The service is very friendly and with room upstairs they can cater for parties or intimate tables for two. Currently they offer a Sunday Special where you have a choice of starter, main course, rice and a naan all for �£9.95 which I think is excellent value. Keep up the good works lads and I’ll see you next week! PS and of course they do take-a-ways and deliver too.
